Children ages 10 and under can participate in semi-private and group lessons weekly.
The teaching format used is what we call the quick start FUNdamentals which is geared towards helping children learn and play the game of tennis while having fun developing their athletic abilities.
This program is designed to engage the children by utilizing modified equipment, shorter court dimensions, and modified scoring; all tailored to their age, size, skill, and attention span. By adopting this modified approach, the children can quickly develop tennis skills such as serving, rallying and scoring. They will achieve better technical and tactical skills using these methods and will also help them to achieve success early in their development and contribute to lifelong enjoyment of the game.

The Development Pathway follows the progressions below:
5 - 8 years RED
9 - 10 years ORANGE
Slower play on smaller court
Shorter racquets enable earlier rally/play
Individual/team games and activities are played
Development of technique and simple tactics
This is the "Get Started" phase where we go through a series of experiential activities to establish a solid foundation for agility, balance, and hand-eye coordination, listening skills and team cooperation. Then we will focus on introductory rallying skills and beginning stages of cooperative tennis. The athletes will learn how to rally, how to move and anticipate a ball, and racquet control. As they improve, the athletes will learn the basic tactics and athletic skills while developing their social skills and group attitudes.
These lessons are taught on either a 36′ Red Court, or 42′ Red Court depending on age and ability.
Play is faster vs. Red stage
Lower bounce appropriate for child’s size
Implementation of advanced techniques and tactics
Longer matches for individual/team events
Approved for USTA-sanctioned
This is the "Moving On" phase where the athletes who have taken several lessons or have the ability to rally can transition and improve their technical, tactical, mental, and physical skills. This progression will enable them to achieve success early in their development and continued enjoyment of the game.
These lessons are taught on a 60′ Orange Dot Court over a standard tennis net.
